Our Story

This is a story of how friends were camping, enjoying a kid free weekend, cocktail in hand, sitting around the campfire and chatting about what it would be like to own their own campground. The now owners Jim & Marie Loewke, Bill Bosley & Laura Perri discussed what the name should be down to what the t-shirts would say and the activities they would have.

As we were all discussing the “big dream” Bill mentions that he thought he knew just the place-That, in fact we have all seen it in our travels as we drove past, a neglected, closed down golf course on our way to work.

Once we had thought about it Jim sprung into action and made a call to a realtor friend. We literally went to the property the next day. The power was off to the building, we ended up using the lights from our cell phones to go through buildings and the property was overgrown with weeds and trees it took us 3 weeks to clear.

We all knew right away that we wanted to do this! We bought the property and closed on 9/29/2020. Plans were soon submitted to the town to covert the 98.5 acres formerly known as The Brockport Country Club into a campground. Once the plans and red tape were fulfilled and finally approved, we got to work. We installed 126 full hookup sites to date, and on June 26th 2022, the campground doors were opened.

As of today we currently have 135 full hookup sites, 66 seasonal sites, 20 tent sites, Lodging options including 2 Luxury Cabins, 3 Rustic Cabins, 1 RV 5th wheel and 2 Covered Wagons, a General Store, 20×60 Inground Pool, Jump pillow, Movie Theater, Arcade, Fitness Center, Laundry room, Activity Center, Dog Park, Golf Cart rentals, 18 hole Disc Golf Course, RC Track and 2 fishing ponds (catch and release), Wagon rides, Barrell Cart Rides, Mining Sluice, Pavilion, and 585 Back Porch Tavern on site!

Great local camping spot. Friendly owners. Its a gem in progress. Lots of things for the kids to do. I can see the campground growing over the next few years and doing amazing things. Sites are large, pull through which is convenient. We were on site J4 and the ground needs to be rolled or smoothed as there are lots of tripping hazards there (looks as if someone used a truck or tractor on the grass and it’s very uneven, but the sites themselves are large and you’re not packed in like some campgrounds. Hoping they do things like Christmas in July and Campoween with trick or treating for the kiddos in September/October. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing campground. Very spacious and getting in was a breeze. Plenty of fun activities throughout the season. The addition of destination is a nice touch too. The first night we stayed there we got food from the bar and it was very tasty. The owners are so kind and very sociable with us and the rest of the people, we will def be coming back next year

An awesome place to be! Very family oriented, but, also great when/if you get a chance to go without the kids. Very spacious sites. Nice family feel, owners are amazing!.
